SHE Visitor's Workshop

Maastricht University has 50 years of experience with the implementation of PBL as well as alternative working formats (e.g. team-based learning, flipped classroom). SHE has an outstanding reputation of research on student-centered learning, as well as educational innovation, for example related to the 4C/ID model of instructional design and programmatic assessment.

In this 3-day onsite workshop, we share many years of theoretical and practical experience in designing, managing and assessing learning in student-centered curricula. The programme offers an introduction and global overview of the principal components and characteristics of the Maastricht approach to student-centered learning, but also offers many opportunities to share your ideas, discuss problems and elaborate on questions in interactive sessions with SHE experts in the educational field.

This workshop can be a first encounter with SHE, and in many cases a stepping stone to other SHE courses, a Master of Health Professions Education or a PhD programme.
