The Ius Commune Casebook Project fosters cooperation among legal scholars from all over Europe. They join forces to undertake in-depth comparative legal research in various areas of the law. The main aim of the project is to enable scholars and students across Europe and beyond to study and discuss the same leading cases and materials. As hinted upon by the series title the casebooks also intend to uncover common principles already underlying existing laws
