In addition to standard master's programmes, Maastricht University offers a number of programmes for professionals. These range from Executive MBAs to training in the health professions. Most applicants are seeking post-graduate studies or have been active in the labour market for a substantial period of time. The majority of the programmes are part-time, allowing students to maintain their career while furthering their education.

This advanced master's programme offers tomorrow’s leaders a future-proof methodology to perform in the challenging global field of privacy, cybersecurity and data management. The two-year parttime programme offers an ambitious curriculum that bridges the intersection between law, technology, ethics, governance and management. You will gain deep knowledge of the legal and technological aspects of EU and global data protection and cybersecurity issues, a sound ethical and business understanding of data usage practices, combined with a broader skillset comprising management and leadership skills, communication skills and related soft skills.

It covers all aspects of the relationship between physical activity and health – from patients trying to get better, to individuals just trying to stay fit, to top athletes aiming for the pinnacle of their sport. The programme offers a great deal of variety, with courses covering themes as diverse as nutrition, muscle & brain function, energy production and metabolic profiling. Because of this variety of courses and an individual 4-5 month research-driven internship/placement, you can pursue your own interests within the programme. Would you like to work in mental healthcare? And would you like to learn how to best treat, diagnose and manage different disorders? Or would you like to do research into psychological disorders? Then Mental Health is the programme you’re looking for. In this programme, you’ll gain the practical skills necessary to assess and manage various mental healthcare problems. You’ll also have the opportunity to do a clinical internship and a research internship, where you’ll obtain essential skills in the areas of diagnostics, interventions and research. Depending on your interests, you can either specialise in Adult Psychopathology or Child and Adolescent Psychopathology. After obtaining their master’s, many graduates enrol in a post-graduate training programme in mental healthcare or psychotherapy. Others secure a PhD position and pursue a career in science.
