Networks for staff and students

FEM is a network of UM staff, from both academic and administrative backgrounds promoting the empowerment of women and female leadership, and fostering a broader culture that supports gender equity and diversity.

For students and staff with (visible or invisible) disabilities, chronic conditions or neurodiversity the UnliMited Network is established in 2021. 

UM Pride is UM's LGBT+ Network, a platform for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & allied staff and students. Offering a safe, inclusive and supportive space and fostering a diverse community.

Are you an early career Maastricht University academic? How do you get your voice heard on the important issues affecting your work? Maastricht Young Academy (MYA) is here to amplify your concerns, opinions and ideas because we want to make our university a better place for everyone.

In the framework of the UM Cares project, PAC is a network for parents and carers.
This network provides peer support for students and staff with caring responsibilities to connect and share experiences. PAC serves as a sounding board for input and feedback for the UM Cares project and for informing the UM community about the project progress.

The Young UM Professionals (YUMP) community is an independent and informal body that brings together dedicated young support staff members from across UM’s faculties and service-centers. YUMP facilitates dialogue and collaboration around the personal and professional development needs of young professionals.
