Moot courts
Student teams of the Maastricht law faculty score high at international pleading competitions, so-called moot court competitions. During such moot courts, teams work intensively on a hypothetical court case, prepare written submissions, and finally plead on behalf of their parties against other universities in front of benches of judges or law professors.
Law honours programme (research track)
The Faculty of Law offers a supplementary Law honours programme (Research Track) for its ambitious master’s students. The programme allows master students to, in addition to their regular studies, learn more about conducting academic research. The programme is embedded in the Maastricht Graduate School of Law.
