Arts and Culture: Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education

The group will start the day with a visit to the European Commission, where they will learn about European cultural policy. Afterwards, they'll take part in a discussion Brussels-based experts to gain further insights into the topic at the UM Brussels Hub.

Workshop: Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) 

The consortium includes several universities, industry partners, and policy-related organisations based in the Netherlands. During the visit, the group will take part in lectures, debates, and workshops with professionals working in the European Parliament, policymaking, and lobbying.

Data Protection Officer (DPO) Certification
 

Part of the DPO training course, organised by the Maastricht European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity (ECPC), will be held at the Brussels Hub. The training provides a detailed overview of the GDPR and its implementation requirements, with a focus on practical application in organisational contexts.

ENHANCE STEM Ambassadors Programme

Selected ambassadors will take part in the Women and Girls in STEM Forum in Brussels a pan-European event bringing together finalists of the Girls Go Circular STEM competition. Participants will engage with high school students from across Europe, share their personal STEM journeys during live sessions, and may form informal mentoring connections beyond the event.

The Migration Management Embassy Professionals Training

This one-week, full-time residential programme, in Brussels, Belgium uses various teaching and evaluation methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.

As part of the ENSURED project, a focused in-person workshop will be held at the UM Brussels Hub, bringing together consortium members to collaboratively develop contributions for the upcoming special issue of the Journal of European Public Policy.
