Audit

The CAPHRI research quality audit is designed to ensure that all research conducted within the Institute adheres to quality standards, and to help researchers achieve these standards. The audit has two main parts, one document-based and one meeting-based. If invited to take part, all the projects for which you are principal investigator/project leader will be audited.

For part one you will be asked to fill in a simple one-page audit form for each project and email certain key documents to the Quality Officer. It is important to complete one form for each project to ensure accurate documentation of your research. This first part mainly concerns ethics approval, informed consent and insurance, and also enables planning of the second part of the audit.

For the second part, an online meeting will be arranged where you can discuss your projects with the Quality Officer and show him (via screen sharing) research protocols and syntaxes, and explain how and where your data is stored. This part should take 1-2 hours depending on the number of projects being audited.
