Continuing professional development (CPD)

Maastricht University offers all UTQ qualified teaching staff holding a ≥ 0.15 teaching appointment 16 hours yearly to engage in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in education. These hours can be used to focus on individual learning goals, but also on a group level to initiate and support the development of professional learning communities within teaching. Teaching staff members could engage in, for example: working visits, intervision sessions for tutors or mentors, peer observation, internal or external workshops (DocProf, EdLab, external parties etc.), MOOCs, attending a session at an educational conference, or reading literature.
