Dr Max Löffler (M.R.)

Max Löffler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microeconomics and Public Economics at Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics. His research is funded by a Veni career grant titled “Housing Markets and Inequality,” awarded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO).

Max specializes in public and urban economics, focusing particularly on the effects of taxes and the study of inequality. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cologne in 2018 and is affiliated with CESifo, Housing Lab, IZA, and ZEW.
