The Centre for Gender and Diversity (CGD) and MACCH are jointly inviting you to two presentations about
work-in-progress research projects on diversity and inclusion theory, policy, and practices in
relation to institutional art and heritage collections.

The ITEM annual conference in Groningen focused on the impact of border regions on security, health and energy supply for residents of Europe's internal borders. Current social developments in the fields of energy, health and safety still show that, in order to tackle barriers and work together with partners on both sides of the border, it is important to arrive at the right casuistry, a joint concrete agenda and a structural approach. The current energy challenge and the cross-border aspects involved require stronger intergovernmental governance (multilevel governance).

In the context of the bachelor course IP in the Digital Single Market and the Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management (IPKM) master programme, we proudly present the expert lecture by Dr. Patrick Heckeler from Bardehle Pagenberg patent attorneys on 20 October 2022, at 18:30 CET in the Statenzaal, Faculty of Law. Patrick will talk about whether and how an AI technology can be protected by patents under the European Patent Convention.
