In July 2024, the Common Market Law Review published Matteo Bonelli’s case note ‘Growing pains: Direct effect, primacy and fundamental rights after Lin’. The note discusses the decision of the CJEU in the 2023 Lin case, and analyses how the Court dealt with questions of direct effect and primacy, and their interaction with EU and national standards of fundamental rights, in the context of a complex rule of law dispute originating from Romania.

EDLAB has developed the UM TutorKit to provide quick and easy tools for common challenges in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) classrooms. From September 2024, this new toolkit, which supports group dynamics, feedback, and evaluation processes, will be available to all UM teachers across faculties.
