WiDS Maastricht Conference 2023

The Institute of Data Science is pleased to announce the fourth edition of Women in Data Science (WiDS) Maastricht Conference. WiDS Maastricht will take place in-person on the 7th of March 2023. All genders are invited to attend! WiDS Maastricht features outstanding data science contributions from women working in data science, AI and related technical fields.

This technical conference provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science related research and connect with others in the field. 
WiDS Maastricht is an independent event that is organized by Institute of Data Science at UM as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide events: Conferences, Datathons, and an estimated 200 WiDS Regional Events worldwide. Everyone is invited to attend all WiDS events which feature outstanding women doing outstanding work.

We cordially invite you to join us on the 7th! 

On the day of the conference, the speakers and the audience will focus and reflect on the impact of data science on the social good. Below you can find the preliminary program:

The WiDS Maastricht Datathon, preceding the WiDS Conference on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 February.

The Amrapali Zaveri Awards 2023: The Amrapali Zaveri Awards aim to recognize scholars for their contributions to the field of data science. 

The winners of the WiDS Datathon and the Amrapali Zaveri Awards will be announced during the conference on the 7th of March.

WiDS Maastricht is organized by the Institute of Data Science at Maastricht University with support from DACS as well as FEM and MaCSBio. The WiDS Maastricht events are partially funded by an Aspasia-NWO Grant.
