WiDS Maastricht Conference 2022
The Institute of Data Science, in collaboration with the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering, FEM Maastricht, Brightlands Heerlen and sponsor COMPUTD, is pleased to announce the third edition of Women in Data Science (WiDS) Maastricht Conference.
WiDS Maastricht will take place online on the 8th of March 2022. All genders are invited to attend! WiDS Maastricht features outstanding data science contributions from women working in data science, AI and related technical fields.
This year’s focus will be on the impact of Data Science on health care. The event targets the data science community and aims to inspire and educate both students & professionals. The invited speakers come from academia and industry and are experts on various healthcare related aspects.
The conference is open to all members of society and provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments in data science, upgrade your network and start fruitful collaborations!
Background
Women in Data Science started as a conference at Stanford University in November 2015. In 2021 the WiDS Worldwide conference reached over 100,000 people across the globe and organised 200+ WiDS regional events in 50+ countries. The WiDS Maastricht Conference is an independent local even of the originating from the WiDS global initiative. WiDS aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field.
