Call for abstracts

Contributed talks
 

We invite all researchers, practitioners, and students with an interest in optimization, simulation, data science, and other quantitative methods for decision making to participate in the conference and to present their work in any field of methodology or application:

  • continuous, discrete or stochastic optimization, graphs and networks, multicriteria decision making, decision theory, game theory, simulation, time series analysis, queueing theory, complexity theory, data mining, text mining, machine learning, etc.
  • supply chain management, production planning, scheduling, project management, transportation and traffic management, service operations management, energy management, DEA and performance management, financial modelling, etc.
  • applications in industry, in the energy sector, in life sciences and in bioinformatics, in public services, in engineering, in sports, in health care institutions, in banking, in telecommunications, in sports, in media and entertainment, etc.

 

​​Practicalities and template

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in LaTeX format (up to two A4 pages - including references/figures/tables) using this template. Please download the template (a .tex file) to your device, or copy paste the content directly into your LaTeX editor. The abstract should be submitted in .tex format.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent around 10 January 2025. The conference will feature parallel sessions with all accepted contributed talks. To be included in the final conference program, at least one of the authors should register for the conference.
