Ordering business cards via publishing platform (Cordeo)
Maastricht University’s digital publishing platform - Cordeo - now also includes a ‘Business Card Wizard’. This wizard will help you to efficiently design and order your own business cards.

Special requests
Please contact Andi Smart Print Solutions, if you have got special wishes that do not fit within the standard layout of the Wizard (if you, for example, would like to include two email addresses, or an additional job title). They are in charge of helping clients with special requests.

*Maastricht University has contracted Andi Smart Print Solutions in Beek via a tender according to the European regulations for public procurement. Andi Smart Print Solutions from Beek (Maastricht-Airport) has been contracted for the production of all our standard stationary material, such as business cards, letter heads and envelopes. This means that these products can’t be printed at Canon anymore; they can only be produced by Andi Smart Print Solutions.

Costs
The fees for the production of business cards via the platform are significantly lower than the fees for production outside the platform:

Single-sided business cards:

50 cards: 3,62
100 cards: 7,25
150 cards: 9,75

A general corporate UM folder is available and can be ordered from stock from Andi Smart Print Solutions.

If you are interested in having your own corporate folder designed by a preferred supplier (for your faculty, service centre or A brand), please contact the House Style Office.

Below an example of the general corporate folder.

This corporate video briefly, concisely and attractively explains in about 2 minutes what we stand for as a university and who we are. It is a general first impression of UM - no specific details are given about faculties, research, etc. It is the new ‘business card’ of the UM, fitting the current spirit of the times.

The video is intended for the entire UM community: from researchers going to a conference to students, and for the introduction of new employees to alumni giving a presentation.

Introducing the new student employees

Students

Starting this summer, we have two new student employees at UnliMited Students. Read their introductions here.

The email signature is part of the corporate identity and ensures a uniform and professional image. Download the example signature in Word (Dutch and English version) to create your personal signature in Outlook.

The signature contains general information (name, address, position, etc.), the UM logo and a disclaimer. An optional extra line is included for other information and social media links.

Information about setting up and using the email signature can be found in the manuals for PC and MAC users:

In consultation with the House Style Office you can have a preferred supplier design your invitation.

Clothing, bags, pens, gadgets etc.

As well as on printed communication media, the UM logo can be used on t-shirts, sports shirts, sweaters, rucksacks, bags, pens, etc. You can ask one of the preferred suppliers to make designs for these products.

The following logo guidelines apply (exception is the "college-style" clothing line of Unigear):

The image (the two triangles) and word (the university's name) brands may never be applied separately.
The logo is preferably displayed in UM dark blue or black.
The background colour is preferably white. If this is impossible, choose a light background colour which makes the logo stand out.
The logo may not have bled edges.
For the sake of readability, the logo may not be smaller than 30 mm wide.
In some cases, for example when only one printing color can be used, the logo must be fully displayed in dark blue.
