  • reduced course load for first-year students (prior to receiving a Binding Study Advice)

The academic advisors can then consult with the Board of Examiners to discuss if and what potential alternative forms of support are available in your situation.

While we strive to accommodate all students' needs, there may be instances where specific compulsory elements within a curriculum, such as laboratory skills, present challenges for adaptation. We are committed to exploring alternative solutions and support measures wherever feasible to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students. If you have concerns or require further assistance regarding specific curriculum requirements, please don't hesitate to reach out to your academic advisor.

Laboratories cannot always be adapted

An important part of the MSP curriculum consists of laboratory sessions (practicals). These are compulsory and part of the graduation criteria. Our brand new laboratory facilities are fully accessible (in general), but certain specific practicals cannot be adapted in such a way that all students with individual circumstances could be accommodated.

Do you want to know what your options are? Then please contact the MSP Board of Examiners: msp-boe@maastrichtuniversity.nl or the MSP Office of Academic Advising: msp-academicadvising@maastrichtuniversity.nl.
