Will you have to pay the tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students (institutional tuition fee) for your studies? Find out in which category (low, high or top) your study programme has been placed based on the nature of the programme and the facilities that are required to offer high quality education for this programme below.

If you do not have the nationality of an EU/EEA country, or from Switzerland or Suriname, you can sometimes still be eligible to pay the tuition fees for students from EU/EEA countries (or Switzerland or Suriname) (statutory) based on your special residence status for the Netherlands.

If you are a student from the EU/EEA and are following two study programmes, you may be eligible for a reduced tuition fee. This page provides more information.

Some master's programmes at Maastricht University offer a start in February. If you decide to use this possibility, this has some consequences for the rate of your tuition fees as well. The information on this page is about tuition fees when starting your studies in February.
