On 10 February, Prof Mark Sanders will discuss "The economics of Sustainability and Resilience" in a lecture organised by Studium Generale Maastricht University.
One of the global challenges we face is to make the transition to a sustainable and resilient economy. What is sustainable development? How can we achieve it, and how should we change the management of our economy for a transition? This lecture will zoom in on the role of entrepreneurship and the financial sector in hindering or helping the transition to a more sustainable and resilient economy.

Each year, we present the Wynand Wijnen Education Prize to those who make an exceptional contribution to educational innovation and development. In addition to the Wynand Wijnen Education Prize, the annual Dissertation Prize was also awarded. The winners of 2024 are Oscar van den Wijngaard and Giulia Giardi.
