Following our message of 22 November 2016 the Executive Board decided to continue the collective health care insurance contract with CZ.
Employees, old-employees and their family who are interested in switching to CZ or another insurer need to terminate their current insurance policy, before 31 December. Your new insurance policy must be signed by 1 February 2017.

A new detection technique – injecting tracers into ovarian ligaments – helps to carry out a sentinel lymph node procedure in ovarian cancer. This leads to greater accuracy in detecting lymph node metastases and also leads to fewer side effects for patients.

Alexander Hoogenboom, scientific coordinator at ITEM, is the winner of the Ius Commune Prize of 2016. Alexander Hoogenboom won the 2016 Ius Commune Prize for his paper ‘In Search of a Rationale for the EU Citizenship Jurisprudence’. The prize was awarded at the 15th Ius Commune Conference on 24 November 2016.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was officially signed on 10 December 1948. This declaration was adopted to protect the fundamental rights of people around the world. To commemorate this, we celebrate Human Rights Day every year on 10 December.
