How can organisations become more compassionate, and then really?
According to Harry Hummels, Professor of Ethics, Organisations and Society, the benefits of doing business in a compassionate way are huge. More participation, transparency and responsibility lead to more commitment, happier employees, less staff turnover, lower absenteeism and more innovative initiatives. In his book 'Growing differently' on compassionate entrepreneurship, he portrays companies that pay extra attention to the 'we-feeling'.
