Nicola Gundt (N.)
Nicola Gundt is assistant professor in labour law at the public law department of Maastricht University.
Nicola completed the European Law School programme in Maastricht. Afterwards she got a PhD position at Utrecht university. The subject of the PhD thesis, defended in 2009 was a comparative analysis of the possibilities to modify employment contracts and the flexibility this offers to employers. In 2007, she accepted a position in Maastricht, which she today still holds. Next to the research and teaching position, Nicola chairs the Board of Examiners since 2021.

Nicola Gundt studied law at the Trier University, Germany when she came to Maastricht as an exchange student. After the exchange period, she decided to stay and enrolled as a regular student . She graduated from the European Law School and went to Utrecht University for her PhD research which was defended in 2009. Since 2007, she works as assistant professor in labour law at Maastricht University.
