Jandre Jansen van Rensburg (J.)

Jandre van Rensburg is a lecturer and PhD candidate in the department of Organisation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. 

 

Jandre's expertise lies in the fields of organisational behaviour and management in general, and more specifically in teams and perceived shared mental models. As an organisational psychologist, he has always had a keen interest in psychometrics and people's work related behaviour. 

 

His research is typically focused on the team level, but also includes individual and dyadic level studies. To date, Jandre's research has been published in Frontiers in Psychology and Team Performance ManagementUpcoming themes in his research include, among others, team learning.

 

Jandre has taught coordinated the courses Management of Organisations (BSc) and Leadership (MSc), and has also taught in several courses in the OSE department at bachelor and master level. He has also supervised theses at the BSc and MSc levels.

 

He is an alumnus of the department and completed the MSc International Business (Organisation) in 2014, the product of being awarded an EuroSA Scholarship. In addition, Jandre holds a MCom Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University.
