Gera Nagelhout (G.E.)
I am an endowed professor in Health and Wellbeing of People with a Lower Socioeconomic Position. I have a background in Communication Science and a PhD in Health Promotion. My PhD thesis was on the impact of smoking bans on smokers and I graduated cum laude. I work at Maastricht University for two days a week and as Chief Science Officer of IVO Research Institute for three days a week. My research projects focus on health, wellbeing and addiction among people with a low socioeconomic position.
