ITEM annual conference 2024:
From Green deal to Industrial deal - Decline “border blindness” & Experience the living labs of European Integration
The ITEM annual conference will focus on the importance of cooperation between border regions, both within and outside Europe.
Cross-border cooperation is crucial for livability in border regions, especially in the context of European integration. Multilevel governance plays an increasingly important role here. The conference offers an in-depth insight into the historical background of European integration and discusses current attitudes, also in light of the 2024 European Parliament elections.
We hope to explore with you how to achieve sustainable and liveable border regions, with a focus on strengthening Europe's internal borders and their challenges.

The Globalization and Law Network invites you to the TEGL Annual Conference. The conference is aimed at scholars, practitioners, and experts wanting to contribute to an engaging exploration of the intricate relationship between law and uncertainty. In an era marked by unprecedented global challenges—from social and humanitarian crises to climate emergencies—the conference seeks to transcend traditional views of law solely as a mitigator of uncertainty. Instead, we aim to explore the diverse conditions under which law can enable or create uncertainties.
