Chris McCrum (C.)

Chris is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Movement Sciences at Maastricht University.

His core research centres around the control and adaptation of gait stability in healthy and clinical populations, with a focus on falls risk and reduction among older people. Two specific subtopics within this work are vestibular function and muscle-tendon biomechanics and their relationship with gait stability. Chris is also interested in human locomotion more broadly, and has been involved in studies of human jumping and running.
