Left-side choices
Study programmes
If you chose mostly answers on the left, you are into exploring, understanding and engineering the world around you. How does the brain work? What is the universe made of? Can we find naturally occuring enzymes that break down plastic? These are questions you can encounter inside the various disciplines that make up the studies in this group.
Biology, physics, and chemistry are important subjects for these study programmes. You are sure to encounter some mathematics as well!

Maastricht Science Programme
The Maastricht Science Programme is a Liberal Arts and Science-programme that offers you the opportunity to explore the natural sciences and to build a unique academic profile based on your personal interests and ambitions. Every semester, you can select courses from fields as diverse as biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, neuroscience and various interdisciplinary fields.

Circular Engineering
A circular economy is characterised by a system of closed loop processes. Ideally no waste is created, renewable energy sources are used, and raw materials, components and products retain their value. This programme trains you to design innovative engineering solutions for this transition.

Right-side choices
Study programmes
Did you choose mostly answers on the right? Have a look at the programmes in this category, which deal with topics like creating models, algorithms and simulations, programming computers, and extracting knowledge from lots of data. You can use these skills in different ways: for instance to help companies make smart business decisions, to make doctors better understand human disease, to let robots 'see' their surroundings, or to level-up the performance computers. Mathematics is typically an important part of these programmes.

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
Data is one of the most abundant resources in today’s society. It can also be incredibly valuable, but only if we put it to good use. This bachelor’s programme gives you the tools to turn overwhelming amounts of information into useful insights and smart decisions for both humans and computers alike.

Business Engineering
By following this programme, you will develop your skills in math, science, engineering, business and economics. Business Engineering is for students with a pioneering spirit and will train you for exciting jobs that combine business and new technologies.

Computer Science
Our Computer Science programme teaches you how to make computers run better, faster, and safer through software. The curriculum is designed to let you gradually discover your interests within this broad field and to develop your employability skills.
