Brightsite
The Department of Circular Chemical Engineering is heavily involved in the Brightsite initiative. Brightsite is a public-private collaboration between Brightlands Chemelot Campus, TNO, Sitech Services and Maastricht University. Brightsite serves as the knowledge center for realizing a sustainable, competitive chemical industry. It makes a major contribution to the transition of the chemical industry (at Chemelot and other locations) to other energy and feedstock sources, with the aim of making this sector climate neutral while retaining employment.
Brightsite is supported by the Province of Limburg.
