CAPHRI

CAPHRI - Care and Public Health Research Institute

At CAPHRI, we work towards creating a healthier society for everyone. We do this by conducting high-quality research that drives innovation in care and public health. Building bridges between research and society is our highest priority.

Our close ties with Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC+) and local care organisations in the province of Limburg enable us to bring solutions for real-life problems in care and public health. At the same time, CAPHRI maintains strong research collaborations worldwide, “from global to local” is one of our guiding principles.

We believe that innovation happens when people with different backgrounds, perspectives and expertise come together. CAPHRI is organised along six thematic-oriented research lines bringing together researchers from various departments to work in multidisciplinary teams.
