Permit and policy
NUCLEAR ENERGY LAW LICENSE (PERMIT)
The institutions present on campus are strongly tied together, both physically as organizationally. For this reason, and because of a request by the governmental bodies, the institutions closely work together in the field of radiation protection, pursuing common policies.
Considering the scale, diversity and complexity of the applications of ionizing radiation within the institution, they have been granted a shared complex license. Partners in this license are the Maastricht University Medical Center+ (MUMC+), Maastricht University (UM), Maastro Clinic, Maastro Proton Therapy BV and Brightlands Incubators Maastricht BV. Annadal Kliniek is supervised by the Radiation Protection Unit.
Even though the institutions agree on a joint policy, each corporate body is responsible for their own application(s) of sources of ionizing radiation. UM acts as a spokesperson for the complex license, on behalf of all participants. The complex license and its modifications can be found through the following links:
