Sustainability Days

Sustainability Days 2026 are coming!

From April 22 to May 20, Maastricht University will celebrate another edition of Sustainability Days. A month dedicated to ideas, collaboration, and action for a more sustainable future.

Throughout the programme, a variety of events, workshops, discussions, and community initiatives will highlight sustainability topics connected to research, education, and everyday practices across the university. These days are organised by the UM Green Office and the UM Faculty Green Teams, and supported by Sustainable UM2030.

As in previous years, Sustainability Days will bring together the strengths, perspectives, and expertise from different faculties and communities at UM, creating opportunities to learn from each other and collaborate on solutions that support our sustainability ambitions.

Faculty days

The faculty days bring together faculty staff, companies, and students to learn more about sustainability topics related to their specific interests and curriculum topics. Each Faculty Green Team has planned one or two days with events open to everyone. If you are interested in exploring different sustainability topics or faculties, this is your chance.
