Radboud University and Maastricht University collaborate on the NOLAI growth fund project. Here, teachers, school leaders, school administrators, teacher trainers, people from the business community and academics work together to improve the quality of primary and secondary (special) education through AI (artificial intelligence). We do this partly by developing digital intelligent educational innovations and partly by understanding the pedagogical, societal and social consequences of these innovations.

Both the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Maastricht University and the Faculty of Science at Radboud University have experienced tremendous growth in recent years. Coupled with the latest developments at Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, such as in the area of Future Farming, both universities see an opportunity to develop new initiatives and further strengthen their scientific profiles. This led to the proposal to create two joint, two-year Research Master's programmes: one in biotechnology and one in applied physics.

In the field of heritage, Radboud University and Maastricht University see many opportunities for cooperation, especially in the field of postgraduate education. For example, there is now a joint masterclass on Uncomfortable Heritage and a course on Sustainable Digital Heritage.

Project Door Erfgoed Verbonden

Watch the video below about the launch of the project Door Erfgoed Verbonden. In this project, Radboud University and Maastricht University are joining forces to bring greater attention to the highlights of their heritage collections.

The project's ambition is for both universities to grow into a shared centre of expertise, offering training opportunities and serving as a point of reference in the field of academic heritage.
