This was the seventh event in the Fireplace Talk on the 30th Anniversary of the Maastricht Treaty, organised by UM Campus Brussels. It featured UM prof. André Klip, an expert in European criminal law, and Jan Van Gaever, Advocate General at Prosecutor General's Office, Brussels.

This workshop explores emerging conceptual and methodological approaches to the interdisciplinary study of AML/CFT regulation and the art market.

ONLINE event - “Next ITEM” – will be the title of the future public debates organized by ITEM, the UM cross-border institute. We start with the topic of citizens participation in decision making processes, currently discussed at all political level. The role of referenda, citizens initiatives or new instruments like citizens assemblies are a case in point. The question has become also relevant for cross-border policies and governance. After a word of welcome, the programme consists of a presentation and a lively debate.

This November, world leaders will gather in Glasgow for the UN Climate Change Conference. For this digital seminar, we would also like to explore the pressing issue of climate change focusing on its impact on symphonic practice in the present and in the future.
