Wynand Wijnen Education Prize awarded to Prof. Leo Köhler
This year’s Wynand Wijnen Education Prize, awarded to staff members who have made an exceptional contribution to education at Maastricht University, went to prof. Leo Köhler.
She coordinates the Bachelor's degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and is an enormous source of assistance and moral support for all students.

The Wynand Wijnen Education Prize is presented annually as a tribute to Wynand Wijnen, a professor of didactics who passed away in 2012. In addition to considerable national achievements in the field of education reform, he helped lay the foundations of Problem-based Learning at Maastricht University.
