Matteo Bonelli won the UM Dissertation Prize

Dr Matteo Bonelli has become the winner of the UM Dissertation Prize for his thesis "A Union of Values: Safeguarding Democracy, the Rule of Law and Human Rights in the EU Member States". This was announced at the Dies Natalis of Maastricht University, which took place on 29 January 2021. In 2020, the thesis was also awarded with the Erasmus Research Prize for its contribution to the European theoretical and comparative legal studies.
