Launch Indie Art Legal Clinic

On 7 September last, the Indie Art Legal Clinic – located at the Faculty of Law – had its official launch. The event took place at the Muziekgieterij and was opened by Dr. Ana Ramalho, Director of the Clinic and Assistant Professor of Intellectual Property Law; by Prof. Kamperman Sanders, Professor of Intellectual Property Law; and by Mr. Ger Koopmans, from the Province of Limburg.

Part of the programme were also pitch talks by Mr. David Stopps (Managing Director of FML International Artist Management and Music Consultant) and Dr. Philipp Usadel (Legal Counsel of Ravensburger); and innovative cross-disciplinary performances by the group icollective.

The event was attended by a mix crowd of students, artists and lawyers. Several students have already enrolled in the Clinic, which counts now with 22 students and three law firms.
