EFFACE on environmental crime in the EU

The European Commission approved one of the final Deliverables of the FP7 project EFFACE (EU Action to Fight Environmental Crime).

It concerns a document with conclusions and policy recommendations addressed at both the EU level and Member State policy makers. The document is a joint effort of all EFFACE partners, mentioning as its main authors Michael Faure and Niels Philipsen, as METRO was leading the final Work Package on conclusions. Last month, Michael Faure already presented the policy recommendations of EFFACE in Brussels, to an audience consisting of prosecutors, judges, Commission and Member State representatives, NGOs, and many other stakeholders.
