Appointments Prof. dr. Martin Paul
Prof. dr. Martin Paul, president of Maastricht University, has been appointed by the Austrian Minister as member of the National Science Council of Austria and as member of the medical Commission of this council. In this function Paul will give strategic advice on developments within Austrian Universities and University Hospitals. Both appointments last six years and have started on June 7th.
In addition, Prof dr. Martin Paul has been appointed as (honorary) fellow of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The goal of this appointment is to stimulate cooperation between Brussels and Maastricht, especially in the bio- and medical sciences. This appointment will last three years.
