I heard a lot of positive things about Maastricht and its university, that is why I decided to explore the different bachelors proposed by the university. The global studies programme caught my attention right away because without knowing it, it was exactly the program that I was looking for, it helps me understand the complexity of our world a little better.
As I got accepted into the programme I moved to this city and started my student life with not much expectations. What I discovered so far, after one month of studying, surprised me positively because the Maastricht community has a very openminded and international atmosphere. The learning methods of the university (PBL) are very effective and in my opinion much more than the study methods I used before. I really enjoy my student life here even though with the coronavirus everything is a little more complicated, but I think Maastricht University is managing the situation really well and gives us the opportunity to make the best out of the situation.
