M.E.G. Weijzen

Michelle Weijzen is an assistant professor at the department of Human Biology. Her research focusses on nutrition in healthy and clinical populations. Dr. Weijzen holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Health Food Innovation Management. In October 2022, she successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Protein intake to support muscle health in a clinical setting” at Maastricht University.
