As Information/Domain Specialist Science & Engineering, I provide guidance and assistance regarding faculty-specific information sources, such as journals, books and databases.
 

Activities include:

• Developing and providing training and online learning modules focussed on information literacy.
• Supporting researchers and students in developing literature search strategies, in particular for systematic reviews. 
• Keeping up-to-date on relevant developments in databases and search engines.
• Evaluating faculty use of resources such as journals, books and databases; and advising on how to update the library collection to suit the needs of researchers and students in the field of science and engineering.
• Advising students and staff on how to make optimal use of the available information sources.
