Jakub Ac (J.A.)

Teaching Assistant, Political Science Department

I completed both my BA and MA and at FASoS, first majoring in European Studies and later specialising in European Public Affairs with a focus on EU Enlargement and Common Foreign and Security Policy. During the course of my studies, I did an internship at the CFSP section of the Slovak Permanent Representation to the EU and a traineeship at the European Parliament, followed by another traineeship at a Brussels-based political think-tank immediately after graduation. With the aim to diversify my portfolio, I then took part in an exchange project in Slovenia focusing on social inclusion of youth and disadvantaged groups, after which I found employment at the International Office of the University of Primorska. Most recently, I acted as a Grants and Funding Officer for GLOBSEC, a CEE based global think-tank.
