Justine Richelle (J.)

Justine is Assistant Professor in the department of Public Law. 

She completed a joint PhD between Hasselt University (BE) and Maastricht University on the topic of the right to public participation in air quality matters. 

Her research concentrates on administrative law and environmental law, with a strong focus on environmental procedural rights, particularly public participation and access to justice. 

Prior to her appointment, Justine obtained an LL.B. in European Law from Maastricht University, an LL.M. in European Law and Market Integration from Maastricht University and an LL.M. in Climate and Energy Law from the University of Groningen (NL). 

Justine is a member of the Maastricht Centre for European Law, and the editorial assistant of the Review of European Administrative Law blog.
