Expertises

My research interests encompass sustainable employment (of low educated employees), employee participation in intervention development, self-direction of employees on sickness absence, (intercultural differences in) work life balance, prevention of burnout among students and doctors, labour participation of vulnerable groups (e.g., people on social benefits and people with visual impairments), effectiveness of preventive interventions, and gender issues. She cooperates with researchers from Maastricht University and researchers from other universities (Radboud University, University of Cologne, University of Oslo, University of Gothenburg, University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). I have a  large network of labour organizations. I have a special interest in research methodology and is experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
