Gang Huang (G.)

Gang Huang is a PhD candidate of MICS & MCfHR at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Faculty of Law, Maastricht University. In 2019, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering (Honours) from Bangor University (Wales, UK), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Information Engineering from Central South University of Forestry and Technology (Changsha, China). In 2023, he obtained a Juris Master from Beijing Normal University (Beijing, China).

His PhD research, under the supervision of Prof. André Klip and Dr. Elvira Loibl, explores to what extent can assurances of China take away human rights concerns with other states in extradition.
