F.M. Hoven
Michael Hoven joined the ERD department as a PhD candidate in October 2015. The focus of his PhD research is on ‘Understanding and Supporting Formal and Informal Learning of Emergency Management Command & Control teams’. Michael obtained a Bachelor degree in Psychology and holds a Master degree in Work and Organizational Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience at Maastricht University. During his master thesis and research internship he studied crisis management teams in the field. Next to his academic education Michael gained practical experience in the field of emergency management as a paramedic and volunteer fire fighter in Germany.
