In 2019, Pint of Science will come to Maastricht. The Pint of Science festival aims to deliver interesting and relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public – held mainly in bars and pubs. Run mainly by volunteers, it provides a platform for people to discuss research with those who conduct it.

From Monday 20 May to Wednesday 22 May, approximately three events per evening will take place in three different pubs (or other venues). In each pub, two or three talks will be given. Representatives of all faculties will cover a broad range of topics in biology, society, technology and ethics. After the talks, you can discuss the themes or ask questions, take part in a fun quiz and win Pint of Science prizes.
