UM SPORTS participates in world wide challenge:

Let's Move for a Better World

Let's Move for a Better World is a global campaign created by Technogym in order to promote a more active lifestyle an help people enjoy a better life. Participants can improve the quantity of movement performed every day and donate it to fight the spread of obesity and sedentarity in the community. The campaign runs from 13-31 March 2017 and over 700 clubs are joining worldwide.

Active sitting = Active studying

Participating sports centres collect MOVEs for a local project. If we manage to collect 3.000.000 MOVEs, Technogym rewards us with a voucher worth of Technogym materials. We choose the UM Healthy University project and will donate our MOVEs for sitting balls in the Library Learning Spaces all over the UM to stimulate the student to sit active and study with a healthy posture.
