How to 'govern' together across borders?
Traditionally, government is seen as a 'national affair' with a clear structure governing an entity. Governing, on the other hand, is a process with fragmented authority involving a wide range of actors. If we look at how governments and other actors such as NGOs work together across national borders, we can observe "governance processes in action". This lecture will zoom in on how this process plays out in the practical (political) process. This lecture will cover questions such as how sub-national actors work together and how cross-border mobility can be encouraged.
