D.J.A. Janssen

Daisy J.A. Janssen (1979) is professor in medicine for older people and specialized in palliative care. She is teaching science to elderly care physicians in training. In addition, she is working in Ciro, centre of expertise for chronic organ failure as elderly care physician, palliative care physician and senior researcher. She is supervising several Ph.D. students, who perform various projects to better understand and address the (palliative care)  needs of frail older people and people with advanced chronic diseases, such as COPD, chronic heart failure or dementia.
