Dr Diana Dolmans (D.H.J.M.)
Diana Dolmans is a full professor of Educational Sciences specializing in health professions education. Her research focuses on key success factors in innovative higher education curricula, with particular attention to optimizing learning environments. Her main areas of interest include problem-based learning, faculty development, and quality culture in education. She is affiliated with the Department of Educational Development and Research and the School of Health Professions Education (SHE) at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences Maastricht University, the Netherlands. She serves as an associate editor for Advances in Health Sciences Education, has supervised thirty-one PhD candidates to completion, and is author of many scientific articles. She was director/chair of the Department of Educational Development and Research for six years (2020-2025), and she is a board member of the PANPBL Association.
